My Juris Doctorate degree combined with my medical knowledge base has proved to be an invaluable resource in cases where the law and medicine intersect. My dual career has afforded me with the experience and ability to analyze, research, prepare and examine a wide variety of legal documents and medical records as a Legal Nurse Consultant. In addition to my role as an Attorney, I am able to serve in the capacity of an expert witness for medical malpractice matters and medical record reviewer for personal injury cases. As a former State of Alabama Board of Nursing employee, I am uniquely qualified to assist Alabama Nurses facing legal issues with their licensure.

Angela E. Kennedy, JD
Attorney Angela E. Kennedy is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Attorney Kennedy holds a Juris Doctorate from Miles Law School, an HBCU located in Fairfield, Alabama. Attorney Kennedy is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Alabama as well as being a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar. Attorney Kennedy graduated from the University of Alabama (Capstone College of Nursing) where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and Spring Hill College of Nursing where she earned a Master’s degree. Attorney Kennedy is a 20 plus year Nursing medical professional. Attorney Kennedy is a member of the National Bar Association where she serves as the Continuing Legal Education Coordinator for Region XI, she is President Elect of the Alabama Lawyer’s Association, a member of the Birmingham Bar Association where she serves as a Chair of the Diversity Committee and she is a member of the Alabama State Bar where she is Co-Chair of the Administrative Law Committee. Attorney Kennedy is a member of Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Attorney Kennedy resides and practices in the Bessemer cut-off area of Jefferson County, Alabama.
